Specialties: Far Bar is known as a local hidden gem to go relax with craft cocktails and fabulous food. Our outdoor alley patio under the lights is perfect for a date night or just a fun evening with friends. You can catch the games on our large projection screen at the end of the patio or on one of the televisions from our al fresco dining patio. Our lounge area is quite spacious and serene. Here we have a private event space upstairs that can accommodate 50 people. Combined, these areas can entertain your private special parties for up to 150 people. Our commercial restaurant kitchen also serves as a full service catering operation so we can prepare a unique meal or banquet for any occasion. Far Bar is a full service Bar, Patio & Lounge that was the after thought of the now defunct Chop Suey Cafe & Lounge that was built inside of an old storage room which is adjacent to our outdoor patio. Now Far Bar is known as a wonderful "place to relax" in Little Tokyo of Downtown LA. The small plates food menu has been completely overhauled to include a large variety of Asian fusion cuisine such as sushi rolls alongside burgers, as well as our internationally famous Wasabi Fries, Bacon Fried Rice, & Ming's Wings!
