Specialties: Vino is an authentic Spanish tapas restaurant and wine bar. Our tapas specialties include our Delicias (dates stuffed with blue cheese and candied walnuts), Champinones al Ajillo (pan-sautéed mushrooms in a butter-Chardonnay sauce), Gambas al pil pil (jumbo shrimp in a paprika-oil sauce), Croquetas de Pollo, Paella, Marinated Filet Skewers... to name a few favorites. As a Wine Bar we specialize in an extensive wine list of international and domestic wines, as well as exceptional house-made Sangria. We offer a great Happy Hour Every Day from 3:30-6:30pm which is a great deal. Established in 2007. Vino Wine and Tapas Room first opened its doors on August 27, 2007 as a culinary vision from its owner, Alla Volk. Before making its claim to fame, Vino was a small Falafel restaurant being sold by a friend of the family. Seeing what no one else saw and defying all opposition, Alla opened the restaurant as the first authentic Spanish tapas bar in the San Fernando Valley. After traveling to Spain, overcome with inspiration, the decision for her was set in stone-- bring Tapas back with her. After 8 years, Vino has become a staple for authentic and traditional Spanish Tapas as well as a modern hub for wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike. Ms. Volk still owns the restaurant to this day.
